ALBANY, GA, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Tickets are now available for Albany State University’s (ASU) 2027 ASU Foundation Blue & Gold Scholarship Gala, a yearly event that honors student accomplishments and provides scholarship funding. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2027, at the Albany State University West Campus Arena.
This edition of the Gala will debut a redesigned, student-focused format that places Albany State students at the core of the evening. Overseen by Chief University Growth Officer Troy Beetz, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to students discuss their time at Albany State—sharing achievements, ambitions, and the programs that are preparing them for future success.
“The Future Is Golden: Celebrating Student Promise. Investing in Possibility.” will serve as the theme for the 2027 Gala, which will offer a Roaring Twenties-inspired black-tie affair, live entertainment, student speeches, and chances for guests to engage directly with Albany State students.
Presidential Scholars will take a prominent role throughout the night, interacting with guests at tables and recounting their own journeys as Albany State students. Their involvement will give attendees a clear view of how investing in student success makes a difference and highlights the potential of the next generation of Golden Rams.
A share of the funds raised during the Gala will go toward the Presidential Scholars Program, a scholarship initiative based on financial need that aims to draw in high-achieving students, improve retention, and boost four-year graduation rates.
