In the wake of a significant expansion, VGA now provides a bulk grading option for 20 or more sealed and/or unopened standard-size games at $45 each, with an approximate 30-day turnaround.
Our workforce has more than doubled, and we have made substantial investments in technology and equipment. The introduction of the VGA Bulk Tier is a direct outcome of that growth and our enhanced capabilities.”— Andrew Aiello
Video Game Authority (VGA), which operates under the umbrella of Collectible Grading Authority (CGA), has rolled out a new Bulk Tier, providing dealers, retailers, online sellers, and collectors with a fresh avenue for high-volume video game grading.
Through this Bulk Tier, clients can submit 20 or more sealed and/or unopened standard-size video games at a cost of $45 per item, with an estimated processing time of 30 days.
This offering comes after a major phase of investment and growth at CGA. During the last year, the company has doubled its employee count and poured resources into cutting-edge technology, specialized machinery, expanded production workflows, and refined operational procedures aimed at boosting grading and encapsulation capacity without sacrificing quality or uniformity.
“Over the last twelve months, we have committed heavily to the future of VGA and CGA,” stated Andrew Aiello, Partner at Collectible Grading Authority. “We have more than doubled our team, invested in advanced technology and new machinery, and enhanced nearly all facets of our operations. This increased capacity allows us to actively pursue larger-volume submissions, and the new VGA Bulk Tier is among the first major fruits of that growth.”
“With a $45 fee per game and an estimated 30-day turnaround, we think we are offering an outstanding mix of value, speed, and quality,” Aiello added. “Dealers and collectors deserve a grading option that works well for bulk submissions while still upholding the standards, case quality, and display of their collectibles.”
The Bulk Tier is tailored exclusively for sealed and/or unopened standard-size video games. Titles submitted via this program receive the same VGA grading criteria and premium display cases as those in other VGA submission categories.
VGA maintains that it provides the most robust video game grading system in the field, which integrates both the box and seal grades into the final score and is supported by a varied grading team with deep expertise in vintage and modern, domestic and international video game releases.
“VGA has earned the confidence of serious collectors by adhering to strict grading standards and never compromising on the quality of the final product,” said Tom Derby, Partner at Collectible Grading Authority. “As we expand, preserving those standards remains our top priority.”
That track record and dedication to consistent grading practices have enabled VGA-graded games to build a solid foothold in the collector market, achieving notable results and strong sale prices through major auctions and private transactions.
For Bulk Tier submissions, customers may select between VGA’s Standard 100-Point Scale or its Unified 10-Point Scale.

“We are not aiming to compete solely on price,” Aiello explained. “We are putting our resources into the people, technology, equipment, and processes that support the product. Collectors care about the grade, but they also care about the case’s quality, how their collectible is presented, and the trust they have in the company backing it. We believe VGA excels in all these areas.”
VGA grading, authentication, and encapsulation take place at CGA’s facility in Roswell, Georgia, where premium cases are handcrafted on site.
