Inc. 5000 List Methodology
Firms on the 2026 Inc. 5000 are ordered by percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, businesses must have been established and earning revenue by March 31, 2022. They need to be U.S.-based, privately owned, for-profit, and independent—not branches or divisions of other entities—as of December 31, 2025. (Since that date, some honorees may have gone public or been bought.) The minimum revenue requirement for 2022 is $100,000; for 2025, it is $2 million. As always, Inc. holds the right to reject applicants for subjective reasons.
