Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry to Deliver Government Keynote at ALE 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, September 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — YB Sim Tze Tzin, who serves as Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), is scheduled to deliver the official Government Opening Keynote at the Asian Lubricant Exhibition (ALE) 2026. This event is set to take place from 8–10 September 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

This marks the third edition of ALE, which unites the complete lubricants industry value chain from across Asia and further afield. Participants include lubricant producers, base oil and additive suppliers, technology firms, testing and certification bodies, equipment vendors, government entities, and industry specialists.

The Deputy Minister’s keynote will serve as the highlight of the ALE 2026 Opening Ceremony on 8 September. It will establish the wider economic and industrial backdrop for three days filled with exhibitions, technical conversations, training sessions, business-matching activities, and networking opportunities.

ALE 2026 will additionally combine viewpoints from both government and the private sector. Government and agency involvement features MITI, MATRADE, MDEC, MyCEB, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), and SIRIM, together with high-level representatives from the regional and global lubricants industry.

Over the three days, the agenda will cover topics such as supply-chain resilience, re-refined base oils, sustainability, advanced fluids, data-centre cooling, industry skills, and the next generation of talent.

ALE 2026 is jointly organised by the Asian Lubricants Industry Association (ALIA) and F&L Asia Ltd.
