These two exceptional organizations have complementary strengths and shared commitments; working together, we will raise the bar for our industry.”— Patrick Albus, CEO GigstreemATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gigstreem, a prominent supplier of managed connectivity and property-wide WiFi solutions for multifamily and commercial properties, today revealed its merger with Aerwave, establishing a next-generation managed WiFi platform that will reshape connectivity throughout the real estate sector. These two trusted firms are uniting to form a stronger organization equipped with the scale, expertise, and innovation needed to advance the way multifamily communities connect and function.

The need for enterprise-grade, portfolio-wide connectivity has intensified as the NMHC Top 50 property managers have expanded their combined portfolios by over 60% in the last ten years, centralizing purchasing decisions with fewer, larger operators that require a single partner capable of providing consistent service on a national level. The unified Gigstreem-Aerwave platform is designed to address this requirement, combining broader operational capacity and deeper engineering know-how with a reach that covers 29 states, 54 markets, and 204 cities.

“Our vision has always been to build the industry’s most trusted connectivity partner for multifamily communities,” said Patrick Albus, Chief Executive Officer of Gigstreem. “These two exceptional organizations have complementary strengths and shared commitments; working together, we will raise the bar for our industry. Together, we have the scale, talent, and expertise to help define what the next generation of connected communities looks like.”

“This is about unlocking potential,” said Ed Wolff, Chief Executive Officer of Aerwave. “Gigstreem and Aerwave are well positioned to accelerate growth, elevate the customer experience, and shape the future of connectivity through greater innovation, broader reach, and superior execution to create the premier connectivity platform for the future of multifamily living.”

Service will continue without interruption for existing customers of both companies. Over time, residents and property teams will benefit from the combined organization’s expanded connectivity solutions across a larger national footprint.
