Cody Young expands septic firm to Austin with flat-rate aerobic maintenance plan

Family-owned Texas septic contractor adds location on Bee Caves Rd serving Lakeway, Bee Cave & West Lake Hills, and begins maintenance plan for aerobic systems

AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For property owners on septic systems in western Travis County, the arrival of Septic Pumping and Maintenance by Cody Young marks a shift in how routine upkeep and emergency service can be handled. The family-owned contractor, licensed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), has opened its first satellite office at 8947 Bee Caves Road, Suite 101, Austin, TX 78746, and simultaneously introduced a flat-rate maintenance program for aerobic septic systems — the company’s first subscription offering.

The Austin office represents the first expansion beyond the company’s Kingsland headquarters. The new location positions the firm to serve Lakeway, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills, Spicewood and the broader western Austin corridor, an area where hillside and acreage properties often rely on On-Site Sewage Facilities (OSSF), the Texas regulatory designation for septic systems not tied to municipal sewer lines. Owner Cody Young, who launched the business with a single truck, noted that the physical presence in the area cuts down response times for urgent calls.

“Austin has been on our service map for years, but a map is not a presence,” Young said. “We wanted an office out here so people in Lakeway and Bee Cave have somebody local and reliable to call in case of a septic emergency. That is what this is.”

The new maintenance contract targets aerobic septic systems, which rely on mechanical parts such as an air pump, a chlorinator, a septic distribution field, and an effluent pump. Texas regulations require residential aerobic systems to be inspected every four months and commercial systems every three months by a licensed maintenance provider. The two-year agreement bundles all scheduled service visits, inspections and adjustments, service calls, parts and labor, chlorination, priority scheduling and written reports for a flat $65.00 per month over 24 months. Each contract includes a monitoring unit that watches the system continuously and sends an alert if a component fails or performance dips outside normal parameters. The process begins with a full assessment by a TCEQ-licensed technician, and any repairs needed to meet standards are quoted separately and require owner approval before work proceeds.

“Most aerobic septic failures out here do not announce themselves,” Young said. “By the time there is standing water or a smell in the yard, the repair is expensive. Monitoring turns that into a service call instead of a replacement. For lake houses and second homes, nobody has to be at the property for us to know something is wrong.”

As of October 14, 2026, the company holds a 4.9-star average rating across 306 Google reviews. Many reviewers highlight after-hours callbacks and same-day arrival on emergency calls.

The firm’s full service list spans the septic lifecycle: installation of aerobic, conventional, mound and low-pressure dosing systems; septic tank and grease trap pumping; septic and drain field repair; maintenance contracts; system design; OSSF permit application; percolation testing; inspections; and porta potty rental. All field work is performed by TCEQ-licensed technicians, and compliance documentation is supplied on completed jobs. Estimates are free, and a 24-hour emergency line is available. Service availability by address can be confirmed at (325) 248-8740 or at septicpumpingburnetcounty.com.
