A community-wide effort involving Dr. Eboni, Baby’s Bounty, Huggies, and numerous local allies tackles diaper scarcity and links families to maternal health services

This week is about transforming awareness into action. When organizations unite around families, with resources, partnerships, and tangible support, we create healthier communities.”— Charles Johnson, Founder of 4Kira4MomsLAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, July 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — As households throughout Southern Nevada continue to grapple with escalating expenses and obstacles to obtaining critical infant supplies, 4Kira4Moms is uniting healthcare leaders, elected officials, community groups, advocates, and maternal health experts for an evening centered on direct, tangible support.

Collaborating with Dr. Eboni, Baby’s Bounty, Huggies, and a wide array of community organizations, 4Kira4Moms will formally inaugurate Las Vegas Black Maternal Mental Health Week through its Community Partner Welcome Reception on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST at 4495 West Reno Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118.

The day reaches its peak with a large-scale Community Diaper & Maternal Care Giveaway, delivering complimentary Huggies diapers, maternal care packages, infant necessities, maternal mental health resources, and direct connections to organizations that offer ongoing support to hundreds of families. Each participating nonprofit will receive a free supply of Huggies diapers for distribution within the communities they serve.

This effort emerges as diaper insecurity continues to impact millions of American households, compelling many parents to decide between buying diapers and covering other essential expenses. Two champions of more robust maternal health legislation, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood and Congresswoman Nikema Williams, will be joining the event. Both lawmakers have played key roles in the Momnibus Bill.

“No mother should have to choose between her health and her baby’s basic needs. That’s why 4Kira4Moms exists,” said Gabrielle “Gabby” Albert, Executive Director of 4Kira4Moms. “This event demonstrates the power of the village in action. Community collaboration is the model we want to replicate in every city we serve.”

The Welcome Reception marks the official start of Black Maternal Mental Health Week (July 19-25), assembling nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, hospitals, doulas, birth workers, public health agencies, faith leaders, legislators, and community advocates who are dedicated to enhancing maternal and infant health outcomes across Southern Nevada.

“This week is about transforming awareness into action,” said Charles Johnson, Founder of 4Kira4Moms. “When organizations unite around families, with resources, partnerships, and tangible support, we create healthier communities.”

Every registered organization will receive a complimentary Huggies organizational diaper supply to distribute directly within its community, widening access to one of the most critical necessities for infants and young children. Right after the reception, families are invited to take part in the public community giveaway, which includes:
Complimentary Huggies diapers
Maternal care kits
Infant essentials
Maternal mental health resources
Family wellness information
Health education materials
