Executives and policymakers network at PTC’DC 2026

Annual gathering for the third time unites public and private sector leaders for hands-on dialogue about expansion, reliability, safety, and the road ahead for connectivity

PTC’DC’s momentum reflects the increasing relevance and urgency of these discussions…”— Brian Moon, CEO, PTCRESTON, VA, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The third annual PTC’DC wrapped up today at the Hyatt Regency Reston, welcoming a record crowd that was nearly 10% larger than the previous year’s turnout, extending the event’s streak of expansion for a third straight year as digital infrastructure gains heightened significance.

Spanning a single day, the conference assembled decision-makers from government agencies, policy circles, investment firms, technology companies, data center operators, fiber networks, energy providers, cybersecurity experts, and community planners to engage in pragmatic discussions about supporting the digital economy’s next phase.

The 2026 program zeroed in on pressing industry concerns such as infrastructure demand fueled by artificial intelligence, limitations on power and available land, capital flows, fiber deployment, community confidence, national economic security, cyber resilience, and the sustainable expansion of digital technologies across the globe.

“PTC’DC keeps growing because these conversations are becoming more important and more urgent,” said Brian Moon, CEO, PTC. “This year, you could feel that in the room. People came ready to talk honestly about the opportunities ahead, but also about the real challenges around power, land, security, policy, and community impact.”

Entering its third year, PTC’DC has established itself as a key Washington, D.C.-area platform for collaboration across the entire digital infrastructure landscape. The 2026 edition saw robust participation all day, with lively exchanges continuing throughout panel discussions, one-on-one interviews, networking breaks, and the concluding mixer.

The energy generated at PTC’DC 2026 will carry over to PTC’27, the organization’s premier annual gathering, which is celebrating its 49th edition and is scheduled for January 17–20, 2027, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
