The Senior REALTORS® Resource Network, launched by NCJAR, aims to link older adults, caregivers, and families with dependable housing resources and local know‑how.
MORRISTOWN, NJ, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Through a Housing Opportunity Grant from the National Association of REALTORS®, the North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NCJAR) has established the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network—a fresh community effort aimed at linking seniors, caregivers, and families with credible housing information, learning opportunities, and neighborhood resources.
The grant comes via the National Association of REALTORS® Community Development Advocacy program, which assists REALTOR® associations in building stronger communities through advocacy, collaboration, and local projects.
With the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network, NCJAR will deliver educational sessions and tools straight into local neighborhoods, working alongside municipalities, senior centers, libraries, faith‑based organizations, community groups, and other reliable partners.
Sessions will cover subjects that matter to older adults and their loved ones, such as aging in place, housing stability, housing transitions, keeping one’s home, fraud prevention, estate and legacy planning, and available community services.
REALTORS® will take a key part in the project through a trained volunteer Task Force. Those who join will receive specialized instruction and act as community guides, assisting seniors and families in finding trustworthy information and services. The program focuses on education and community service—not on solicitation or generating leads.

NCJAR will also partner with Affiliate Business Partners, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, housing experts, senior‑service providers, and other community stakeholders to broaden the resources offered through the Network.
This initiative highlights the REALTOR® role that goes beyond transactions—blending housing knowledge, community connections, and advocacy leadership to reinforce local communities.

NCJAR is now seeking REALTORS® to join the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network Task Force, as well as Affiliate Business Partners and community organizations that wish to contribute their expertise and resources.
