Specialized environmental contractor aids in asbestos precautions, removal of contaminated debris, and public-safety measures at the complex fire site

Workers are using protective gear and controlled work practices designed to prevent contaminated dust and debris from escaping the designated cleanup area. Nearby residents and businesses were also advised to keep windows shut and avoid the immediate work zone as an added precaution while debris removal is ongoing.
