Archiving available for Slack

The new Slack connector adds to Jatheon’s data connector lineup, targeting one of the most widely adopted workplace messaging platforms. It is designed for compliance officers, records managers, and IT leaders in regulated industries and global enterprises.
This connector captures all platform activity and stores it in an evidentiary-quality format, complete with metadata and message threading. Supported message types cover public and private channels, direct messages, and group messages. Edits and deletions are also recorded.
The connector also provides an optional historical data import feature, enabling organizations to archive existing Slack conversations rather than capturing only messages from the deployment date forward. Once ingested, Slack data becomes searchable through Jatheon’s unified interface across all data sources. Compliance teams can apply retention policies, legal holds, tags, content policies, and audit trails to Slack records just as they do for other channels. AI analyzes message sentiment and flags potentially risky or non-compliant content for review.
