According to AirDNA, Home Team expanded its active vacation rental listings by 70% between 2025 and 2026. However, growth was not the sole factor in the ranking. To qualify for AirDNA’s Fastest Growing category, property managers needed to have over 100 active listings in both years and also improve their guest rating during the expansion.

This criterion is important because AirDNA’s research shows that sustaining high guest ratings grows more challenging as vacation rental portfolios get larger. Although 55.9% of U.S. hosts with a single listing hold a guest rating of 4.9 or higher, that figure drops to merely 0.6% for operators managing more than 500 listings.

AirDNA refers to the company as Home Team Vacation Rentals, which was its previous name. The business currently operates under the name Home Team Luxury Rentals, indicating its dedicated emphasis on luxury vacation properties.

Home Team continues to be independently owned as it oversees an expanding portfolio in vacation markets across the country. Its exclusive focus on luxury properties introduces an extra layer of complexity to scaling, since individual homes, locations, and guest expectations differ widely from market to market.
