Berkeley-Trained Engineer, Rehabilitation Robotics Innovator, and AI Therapy Pioneer Joins HAI4M to Advance the Future of Brain–Body–Behavior Intelligence
SILICON VALLEY, CA, UNITED STATES, July 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — HAI4M Holding Inc. has revealed that Professor Doyoung Jeon, Ph.D., will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) starting July 15, 2026, bolstering the company’s executive team as it pushes forward with its goal of creating the premier Brain–Body–Behavior (IBB) Intelligence Platform globally for human motion, functional recovery, neurorehabilitation, and cognitive wellness.
Dr. Jeon, a widely acknowledged trailblazer in medical robotics, exoskeleton systems, intelligent control methodologies, and rehabilitation engineering, contributes over 35 years of expertise across research, innovation, teaching, industry, and government service. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and has been a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Sogang University since 1994.
Over his notable career, Dr. Jeon has influenced the progression of contemporary rehabilitation technologies via groundbreaking efforts in human–robot interaction, rehabilitation robotics, intelligent exoskeletons, and AI-driven therapy platforms. He has written roughly 150 scientific papers, with his work cited more than 1,600 times globally. His provocative AI Therapist studies demonstrated how artificial intelligence can enhance clinical practice by offering smart therapeutic direction during robotic rehabilitation—an early concept of what is swiftly becoming the reality of AI-powered healthcare.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Jeon has held numerous leadership positions at the nexus of technology, education, and public policy, such as Dean of Engineering at Sogang University, Member of Korea’s National Science and Technology Advisory Council, and Member of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Policy Planning, where he contributed to forming national approaches for science, innovation, and industrial growth.
Jason Chen, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of HAI4M, stated:
“Professor Jeon embodies a unique blend of visionary researcher, technology strategist, educator, and national innovation authority. For over thirty years, he has committed his professional life to restoring human movement and capabilities through robotics, AI, and intelligent systems.
As HAI4M transitions from a worldwide frontrunner in rehabilitation robotics and advanced movement technologies into a Brain–Body–Behavior Intelligence Platform enterprise, Dr. Jeon’s background, foresight, and groundbreaking efforts in AI-enhanced rehabilitation make him exceptionally suited to spearhead this evolution.”
In his capacity as CTO, Dr. Jeon will oversee HAI4M’s worldwide technology strategy, intelligent device design, AI-focused product development, and upcoming rehabilitation innovations. Collaborating across HAI4M, Hocoma, and Motek, he will support the merging of robotics, neurotechnology, sensing, artificial intelligence, and clinical insights into a unified system capable of delivering more tailored, adaptive, and efficient treatment.
Discussing his new role, Dr. Jeon remarked:
“The fusion of robotics, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and human-focused engineering is creating remarkable possibilities to enhance human health and function. HAI4M’s Brain–Body–Behavior concept stands as one of the most promising prospects for redefining the future of rehabilitation and human capability. It is an honor to join this team and contribute to technologies that can assist individuals in regaining mobility, independence, and quality of life.”
HAI4M contends that the future of healthcare will not be shaped by standalone devices, separate therapies, or independent AI models. Instead, it will be driven by intelligent systems capable of grasping the full human journey—from brain intent, to physical ability, to behavioral results. Through its expanding portfolio of robotics, virtual reality, neurotechnology, AI, and clinical intelligence, HAI4M is laying the groundwork for a new era of Human Function & Brain Health Intelligence.
