College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving is broadening its service area across Southeast Michigan, substantially enlarging its coverage zone to address rising demand for moving and junk removal services. This growth extends the company’s territory across Wayne, Washtenaw and Monroe counties, encompassing Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Canton, Wayne, Romulus, Garden City, Westland, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Grosse Ile, Manchester, Taylor, Woodhaven, Saline, Tecumseh, Monroe and neighboring areas.
As a result of this expansion, the enterprise will now operate under the names College HUNKS of Detroit and College HUNKS of Ann Arbor, with two distinct locations catering to clients throughout the region.
This move dramatically enlarges the franchise’s footprint across Southeast Michigan and will roughly double its operations overnight, bringing on over 25 new staff members and seven additional vehicles. The growth enables the firm to serve a much larger number of residential and commercial clients, generate new employment opportunities, and boost capacity across the area.

Before owning a College HUNKS franchise, Hagerman worked in real estate management. Five years ago, after joining the College HUNKS system, he started the Grosse Pointe territory and later expanded throughout Detroit. Adding Ann Arbor and neighboring communities represents the company’s biggest expansion yet and places the business in a stronger position to serve customers across Southeast Michigan.
Hagerman’s locations have also received strong customer acclaim, with over 1,100 Google reviews and a steady 5-star rating.
