ACTALL HubSens5™ Launches Publicly as a Migration Route for Bosch Security Escort® Users

Shaped and validated alongside current Bosch Security Escort® customers, ACTALL HubSens5™ lets facilities upgrade without a total overhaul

ACTALL Corporation has made ACTALL HubSens5™ commercially available, giving Bosch Security Escort® customers a tested route beyond the retired platform while preserving a large portion of their installed field hardware.

ACTALL HubSens5™ grew out of years of hands-on development and rollout work with correctional institutions and other existing Bosch Security Escort® users. When the product reached its end-of-life, these organizations were stuck between running outdated gear on unsupported software or tearing out still-functional infrastructure at major expense and disruption.

Collaborating directly with live sites, ACTALL created and honed a third route.

ACTALL HubSens5™ is built to take over from the Bosch Security Escort® head-end while keeping existing Bosch® transponders, receivers, and Personal Alarm Transmitters (PATs) running on 304 MHz and 433 MHz frequencies.

“HubSens5 was designed around a genuine issue our clients were dealing with,” said Bob Hampe, President and CEO of Actall Corporation. “They had field hardware that still worked, but the software behind it had hit end-of-life. For the past several years, we have partnered with Bosch Security Escort® users to build, test, and validate a smoother transition. ACTALL HubSens5™ is what came out of that effort, and it is now open to the broader market.”

Converting existing Bosch® gear into a contemporary RTLS

ACTALL HubSens5™ swaps the outdated software and control tier for a current real-time location and emergency-alarm system. Security personnel can view individuals and alerts on building maps, monitor position updates as they happen, and distinguish worker alarms from equipment problems like receiver failures, transponder faults, and supervision issues.

The system also comes with site-testing and calibration utilities, so location accuracy can be tuned to the RF profile of each unique property.

Validated through phased rollout

A central piece of the development effort has been ACTALL's Controlled Evaluation Program (CEP).

Instead of forcing facilities into a single-step switch, ACTALL HubSens5™ can first run alongside the legacy Bosch® system, watching live events and gathering side-by-side data while Bosch® stays active. Sites can then progress through controlled phases toward full Actall operation, checking evidence at every milestone.

That strategy let ACTALL and its clients verify the technology in real working conditions before HubSens5™ was offered to everyone.

“This is not a concept or a future promise,” added Hampe. “Along with supporting our current ACTALL ATLAS™ real-time location systems, ACTALL HubSens5™ was built around live Bosch Security Escort® sites and the issues those clients genuinely face. General availability is the point where that work turns into a realistic choice for the wider Bosch® community.”

Partner portal live at hubsens.com

With the public launch, ACTALL has also opened the hubsens.com platform portal to channel partners, systems integrators, and architectural and engineering (A&E) firms. The portal offers these groups a single destination for everything needed to specify, quote, and deliver ACTALL HubSens5™ projects.
Portal members can access product documentation plus sales and marketing collateral. Select certified partners also receive pricing and software downloads, letting them quote, install, and service HubSens5 deployments on their own.

“A lot of Bosch Security Escort® sites are specified, installed, and maintained through partners and A&E firms,” said Hampe. “The hubsens.com portal puts the documentation and resources those partners need right in front of them, and it gives our certified partners the pricing and software to bring HubSens5 to their clients.”

ACTALL HubSens5™ will be generally available starting October 6, 2026. Channel partners, integrators, and A&E firms can apply for portal access at hubsens.com.
