A new alliance has been announced today by Achievable, a contemporary test preparation firm that aims to assist students in performing well on high-stakes assessments, and the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS), which is the biggest and most well-known organization supporting classical Christian education.
As part of this collaboration, Achievable will offer its CLT, SAT, and ACT prep courses to ACCS member institutions, granting students entry to thorough, self-paced test review materials and equipping schools with resources to oversee student advancement and preparedness.
Especially pertinent for ACCS schools is Achievable’s CLT preparation program. This course was created together with Clayborne Education, an authorized test prep provider for the Classic Learning Test and a group possessing many years of collective expertise in readying learners for college entrance examinations.
The CLT aligns particularly well with classical Christian education due to its focus on verbal and quantitative reasoning, the classical liberal arts heritage, and interaction with major works from the Western intellectual canon. David Goodwin, President of ACCS and also a member of the CLT Board of Academic Advisors, has earlier referred to the CLT’s arrival as “a refreshing new direction” in college admissions testing.
Gene Liechty, Director of Advancement and Partners at ACCS, stated: “We’re excited to welcome Achievable as an ACCS partner and to connect our member schools with another high-quality resource for college admissions test preparation. Achievable’s focus on the CLT, along with its SAT and ACT offerings, gives our schools and families additional tools to help students prepare confidently and effectively for the next step in their education.”
Tyler York, CEO of Achievable, commented: “ACCS schools are an exceptional fit for what we’re building at Achievable. These schools care deeply about developing students who can read carefully, reason clearly, and engage seriously
