Westfield Business School sends executives to Silicon Valley and Munich for hands-on innovation

In an era where artificial intelligence and digital transformation are reshaping entire industries, a Miami-based business school is betting that the best way to train leaders is to put them directly inside the world’s most influential innovation ecosystems. Westfield Business School, a DEAC-accredited institution, is preparing to launch its Global Immersion Weeks from October 19 to 26, taking working professionals and executives to both Silicon Valley, California, and Munich, Germany. The twin experiences are designed to give participants a firsthand look at how two very different global hubs approach technology, strategy, and business transformation.

DEAC-accredited Miami business school connects executives with global innovation hubs and prepares to welcome its Spring 2027 MBA in Business Analytics cohort.

The initiative speaks directly to a pressing question facing many organizations in South Florida and beyond: how can business leaders translate rapid advances in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital tools into sound, strategic decisions? Westfield’s answer combines classroom learning with real-world exposure to business practices that go far beyond textbooks.

Two innovation ecosystems, complementary perspectives

Silicon Valley offers a window into entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and technology-driven business models, while Munich—one of Europe’s premier industrial centers—provides a contrasting look at advanced manufacturing, engineering, and industrial innovation. Over the course of the Global Immersion Weeks, participants will examine how each region approaches strategy, organizational change, and growth, drawing lessons they can apply in their own companies.

“Artificial intelligence and analytics are changing the decisions business leaders face every day. Understanding the technology is the starting point; the real challenge is evaluating its business impact and leading people through the change,” said Ignacio Maroto, Provost of Westfield Business School. “Miami is one of the most international business cities in the country. Our Global Immersion Weeks give professionals here a wider perspective by connecting academic learning with different innovation ecosystems.”

Business education rooted in Miami, connected internationally

Operating from its Miami base, Westfield Business School delivers graduate education tailored for working professionals. The school offers flexible online and hybrid formats, faculty with hands-on executive experience, and international experiential learning opportunities. Its curriculum emphasizes strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the unique bridge between the United States and Latin America.

Westfield holds institutional accreditation from the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), a body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The school is actively working to deepen its ties with the South Florida business community, creating partnerships with companies and chambers of commerce to expand access to executive education, professional development, and graduate business programs.

Graduate programs for a data-driven economy

The school is also preparing to launch several new academic offerings. Its MBA in Business Analytics, planned in a hybrid format in Miami, is set to begin in Spring 2027, with a focus on business intelligence, analytics, and evidence-based leadership. Before that, the school will welcome its next Online MBA cohort in November 2026, centered on management, leadership, and strategic decision-making.

Westfield currently offers a STEM-designated Master in Financial Analytics program in Miami. Looking ahead to Fall 2027, the institution plans to welcome new cohorts for both the Master in Financial Analytics and the Master in Digital Marketing Analytics, expanding opportunities for professionals seeking advanced skills in financial analysis, digital marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
